Dan Webb and the Spiders are a punk band from Boston, MA.

Music is more fun with friends. Dan Webb knows this better than anyone. In 2009 he stepped into the studio and single-handedly tracked all the guitar, drums, bass and vocal parts for his self-titled debut Dan Webb and the Spiders. Once the album was complete, he assembled an all-star team of musicians from various Boston bands to play some live shows. As local interest built, the band formed into a more cohesive group and began working together on a second album, 2010’s OH SURE. The Spiders hit the road for the first time in support of this release in various basements and bars throughout the East Coast and Midwest in April of 2010.

Hometown: Boston, MA. Birthplace of the American Revolution and home to a punk scene rich with history and intensity that has given birth to a score of legendary bands including DROPKICK MURPHYS, SMOKE OR FIRE, THE BRUISERS, THE TROUBLE, THE SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN and STREET DOGS.

Tour History: The Spiders are comprised of members of MOVERS & SHAKERS, THE COLD BEAT and GET LAID, Boston-based bands that have all done extensive tours throughout the US. The Spiders embarked on their first tour throughout the East Coast and Midwest of the US in April of 2010.

In their brief time together the spiders have played Boston shows with: SMOKE OR FIRE, SLOPPY SECONDS, THE ARRIVALS, STATUES, THE DOPAMINES, GRABASS CHARLSTONS, THE SLOW DEATH, JEFF ROWE, CANADIAN RIFLE and have dates booked with LEMURIA and THE SAINTE CATHERINES
