The Heart Punches
Hey there! We’re The Heart Punches from Ibbenbüren.
A series of curious incidents resulted in the three of us finding ourselves in a rehearsal room, (re)united after decades of punk rock in bands like Force of Change, The Vaders, or January Star. The idea was to write a couple of songs and find out if our different musical preferences would melt into anything fruitful. They did … and then came Covid. So we switched to remote songwriting, resulting in 12 songs which we recorded and produced at Heavy Kranich studio, Münster, in 2023 with our dear old friends Phil Meyer and Guido Donot.
Until the day we operated “under the radar,“ delaying live shows for the benefit of songwriting and the recording that we funded completely on our own account. Right now we’re planning on our first shows, and we’re looking for a label and/ or a distro to help us get our music on vinyl and spread it to some mid-age hands and ears.
