Described as “Whiskey-fueled folk rock anthems”. Owls By Nature’s
tunes have been living up to their reputation. With incredible live
shows filled with frenetic energy, the band has taken on an innovative
stance when it comes to rock’n’roll.

Their new album, Everything Is Hunted, embodies that same spirit.
There is an urgency, almost a calling in the songs and the music
builds and builds into an anthemic fortitude that travels throughout
the record. Take their first single, Heartbreaking Ways, it’s an
electrifying song that can get stuck in your head for days…kind of
like an Enrique Iglesias track (but without the shame).

Since their inception in April 2010, Owls By Nature have been ruffling
feathers, building audiences and having well-established local acts
sit up and take notice. And who wouldn’t? Consisting of a fine group
of Edmontonians – they have their own unique brand of folk rock that
brings energy and stage presence that invigorates any crowd.
