Since 2004 Jared Hart has spent his time growing up in basements, studios, clubs, bars, and tour vans. Through his band The Scandals, Hart has infused the qualities of a singer-songwriter with the energy and excitement of a New Jersey punk band. Over time, the desire to tour non stop and hone his craft has led to the recent fixation with an acoustic guitar. The experiences and the people he’s met along the way have paved the way for his first solo effort entitled “Past Lives and Past Lines.” The introspective album combines the hooks and singalongs that Hart is known for with heavy lyrics and eclectic instrumentation. With the help of the voices and playing of friends and family, the songs bring the questions we all share to life and bridge a connection between the wonder and fear of what happens next.
