Radio Compass

Bio/Info:

Hailing from Salem, MA, RADIO COMPASS is a post-punk outfit with a seasoned rock and roll minimalist attitude. Blending garage rock, punk, pop and alternative influences, they hit the Boston scene in 2015 with their debut bedroom-pop album, Papercuts (Produced by Steven R Lord).
In the past 5 years they’ve garnered a strong local following and developed a reputation for their high energy performances, cathartic riffs and infectious hooks.
Their highly anticipated sophomore album “… FOR A GIRL” produced by long-time Boston producer Richard Marr of Galaxy Park, was released in September 2018 with warm reception by music outlets like Vanyaland, Indie617, WEMF and Boston Emissions, who included them on their Top 5 Songs of the Week.
The band has been involved in community art and fundraising events, including frontwomxn Lee’s Annual Rock for HAWC fundraiser for individuals impacted by domestic violence and has featured many local favorite acts (Carissa Johnson, Tigerman Woah and The Devils Twins to name a few) over the course of the past 5 years. They’ve also appeared at Ralph’s PunkCake Arts Fest.
After a brief hiatus and a lineup change which included the addition of guitarist Franklin Siplas (also of Michael Kane & The Morning Afters), the band got back into it full force with 2019 performances at Boston’s 2019 Rock and Roll Rumble (Somerville,MA), Bright Lites Music Fest (Everett, MA), Boston Local Music Fest (Boston, MA) and Pouzza Fest9 (Montreal, Canada). A single, Run with You, off an upcoming album had a very early release last year to be part of RockBand’s 5th anniversary free DLC pack.
With more shows and touring in mind, the group has joined the Sound Investment Records (USA) and Gunner Records (Europe) family for the release of their new album which will be released on 12″ vinyl May 20, 2022. Stay tuned for two new singles and videos come your way this May!
