..welcome to my first newsletter 2011…it happened a lot in the last time…

…the tour is confirmed for July/August 2011. a new record is in the works
street date is the 12.march. gunner records will do the cd version of that
release and will have the chunksaah vinyl for sale. it will be an exclusive
colour only available through gunner records..limited to 500 copies!
*Dan Webb and The Spiders*
“much obliged” is produced on vinyl and cd and already sitting in my
office ready to be sold…the promo copies are send out..so watch out for
some press…
there are 400 copies on white vinyl..and 100 copies on clear vinyl for the
handnumbered silk screen edition…
dan webb and the spiders are an awesome garagy, rock, punk band
from boston/usa…they remind me a lot of the old stuff by jay reatard or
thermals..or even a mix of that …great songs..nice guys ..what more can
you ask for…
here’s what maximum rockn roll has to say about them:
“I’d heard somebody portray this band as indie rock, which I’m not big
on, but this is much cooler than that depiction so i’ll try to set the record
straight. Yes, there is a disposition toward low-fi, distorted rock that
brings to mind a band like DINOSAUR JR, but the tunes are also upbeat
and and catchy in a way JAY REATARD (R.I.P.) was or the YOUNG
PIONEERS or THERMALS were. The zone that exists between melodic
punk and moody, heartfelt rock ‘n’ roll is a good place to be, and that’s

becoming one of my favorites for the month, and if you dig the style of

Another new act on Gunner Records will be title tracks from
washingtonDC/USA..we are producing their debut “it was easy” and the
new record “in blank” this month…in blank will hopefully be out in
april..while “it was easy will follow in may/june..

“Title Tracks emerged in mid-2008 from the still-smoldering ashes of
Georgie James. After years of co-writing songs with Q And Not U,
Georgie James and others, John Davis began to focus his energy
exclusively on solo material. On the Title Tracks debut single, “Every
Little Bit Hurts”, John displays an almost scientific approach to song-
writing. Bits and pieces and diverse influences culled from such wells
as; a holy-grail-stocked record collection; a moonlighting gig as a radio
disc jockey; and more than a decade of touring and recording in the US,
Europe and beyond, have all served to hone John’s musical
vocabulary into a powerful and engaging instrument.
While John is the writer/arranger behind Title Tracks he is joined live
(and on the debut single) by Andrew Black (drums), Michael Cotterman
(bass) and Merideth Munoz (organ/guitar/vox), all friends from the D.C.
music scene.”
they will also tour over here in europe for the very first time in the spring
2011!!!! watch out for news!!!

..thanks everybody who put on a show, helped in any way or came to the
shows….the tour was very successfull…and we were ahppy that it went
that way….it was actually that good that we decided to have their next
tour coming in september/october 2011…watch out for news…
the silkscreen edition of rebellion on orange vinyl is now available in the
gunner records shop!

A tour of mischief brew solo is in the talks..it will be just him ..not wiht a full
band..like his first time over here in 2006. he will bring along his good
friend franz nicolay of bands like world/inferno friendship society, the
hold steady and against me!. he will be playing solo acoustic as well
like his last tour supporting money brother over here…watch out for
news…
